Welcome to Fig Tree Ministries at Wesley UMC! Everyone has a place here with this amazing group of children and families. Take a look at what you can expect when you come through our open doors.

 

Sunday School is from 9:30 – 10:15 on Sunday mornings. Our children and youth enjoy a variety of activities during this time together. Activities can include conversations about the sermon each week, Bible studies, preparing for musicals that will be shared during worship, or even planning for upcoming community events.

 

Sunday Morning Worship service is a Contemporary Service and begins at 10:30 a.m. During worship, we offer a Children’s Time. The children come together and hear a special message geared for young ears and hearts. Children 1st grade and higher are invited to remain in the Sanctuary for the entire service. Sanctuary sacks with activity sheets related to the sermon topic are available as you enter the Sanctuary.

 

Childcare is available for younger children (birth through Kindergarten) beginning at 10:30 a.m. The children are welcome to worship in the Sanctuary and enjoy the Praise Team music, and then we will transition them to Childcare. Here they will enjoy lessons that follow along the sermons. Don’t forget to say “Hi” to our hairy eyeball bag – this is where we keep the secrets for that Sunday’s lessons until the kids can come see what is inside.
