No matter what the circumstances, grief recovery is a painful process, and we’d like to help. GriefShare is a grief recovery support group open to all adults seeking help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one, such as a spouse, parent, child, relative, friend, or significant other.  The group meets for 13 weeks for approximately 90 minutes each week.  Sessions include a video seminar, support discussion, and journaling opportunities.  GriefShare features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics, including “Is This Normal?” “The Challenges of Grief,” “Grief and Your Relationships,” “Why?” and “Guilt and Anger.”

The GriefShare workshop is offered during the summer at Wesley UMC and is available at other times throughout the year at other area churches. Please see the GriefShare website for further information on the program and locations.
